To widen its presence in India, the NBA has signed Dream11 as the official fantasy gaming partner of WNBA and G League, along with NBA.

The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Dream11 have extended their fantasy gaming partnership by offering the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) and the G League - NBA’s minor league basketball competition - for the first time to Dream11’s users in India.

Through this deal, Dream11 has now become the official fantasy partner of the NBA, WNBA and G League in India.

With the increasing popularity of leagues like the NBA in the country, basketball has emerged as one of the fastest-growing sports of India in recent time and has seen its fan base grow remarkably.

“We have seen a significant increase in fan engagement since the launch of the NBA’s fantasy platform on Dream11 three years ago,” said Siddharth Chury, Associate Vice President, Global Partnerships, NBA India.

The NBA now aims to widen its reach by including the women’s league and the G League on the Dream11 app.

“Dream11 is a valued partner, and we are excited to grow our relationship by introducing the WNBA and G League to our fans, giving them a platform to connect with a number of our leagues in new ways”

Dream11, which is India’s largest fantasy sports platform, welcomed the renewed association with the world’s most popular basketball entity, the NBA.

“We are happy to further expand our partnership with the NBA by adding the WNBA and G League. The NBA has been one of the earliest partners of Dream11, and it is heartening to see the consistent growth in engagement for fantasy basketball through this partnership,” said Vikrant Mudaliar, CMO, Dream11, and DreamSports.

Founded in 2008 by Harsh Jain and Bhavit Sheth, Dream11 boasts a user base of over 100 million and is the official fantasy partner of the International Council of Cricket (ICC), Indian Premier League (IPL), Indian Super League (ISL), La Liga, Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) and International Hockey Federation (FIH).
