South Indian actress Tamannaah Bhatia, who has dabbled in both Tollywood and Bollywood, is now an MPL brand ambassador along with Virat Kohli.

Tollywood and Bollywood actress Tamannaah Bhatia has been roped in by India’s largest mobile gaming platform, Mobile Premier League as their brand ambassador. She will now represent and promote the brand across different social media and broadcast channels.

Tamannaah Bhatia will be the second brand ambassador for MPL after Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli. The Delhi born cricketer has been the face of the company since 2018 and recently renewed his association with the MPL. Tamannaah Bhatia, along with Virat Kohli, will now represent and endorse the fantasy brand across all channels.

“I am excited about being associated with MPL,” Tamannaah Bhatia said. “In a short span, MPL has grown to become India’s largest mobile gaming platform that rewards skill and has impacted people across the country.

“I am looking forward to working with MPL,” the actress added while expressing her excitement over the new venture.

When quizzed about having earlier worked on an ad-shoot with Virat Kohli, the actress added that it was a brief stint and she hadn’t met or spoken to the Indian captain since.

Speaking about the development of having Tamannaah Bhatia on board, Abhishek Madhavan, VP, Growth and Marketing, MPL said, “We are pleased to have a celebrity of Tamannaah’s stature team up with MPL. Her work speaks for itself and we are excited about the prospect of this association.

“Tamannaah being the face of MPL across mediums is bound to resonate with our users and audience, especially in South India,” he added.

The 30-year-old Tamannaah has a massive fan following in both Bollywood as well as the regional industries and is believed to be a good fit for the company’s fan base.

Tamannaah Bhatia’s prowess as an actress resonates well with the brand which aims to help monetize users’ gaming skills.

MPL currently has more than 35 million users, with over 40 games on the platform. Ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League season, the fantasy platform has added six cricket games, offering its users a wide choice.
