IND vs NZ Dream11 Prediction: Batters and Wicket-Keepers
Rohit Sharma should be a must have as in the last 3 matches of the World Cup recently, he had scored 56, 30 & 74 runs respectively and thus is carrying some momentum in his form. Also, captaincy does bring the best out of him as in his last 6 T20Is as captain he has scored 3 fifties and 1 thirty. His T20I batting average is 42 as captain against that of 31 otherwise.
KL Rahul will be entering this series on the back of 3 back-to-back fifties which he scored in the later stage of the World Cup. He also has a great record against the Kiwis having scored 18, 45, 39, 27, 57* & 56 runs respectively against them in 6 matches.
Guptill is having a great year in T20Is as he has scored 526 runs in 15 matches at an impressive strike rate. Given that main frontline bowlers have been rested by India, Guptill can be a good pick against relatively inexperienced Indian pace bowling attack (Chahar, Avesh, Harshal)
IND vs NZ Dream11 Prediction: Bowlers
Ish Sodhi has a sensational record in India in T20Is having taken 15 wickets in 8 matches here with never being wicketless in a match. Moreover he has taken 19 wickets against India in just 13 T20Is which is again phenomenal. Given that he recently was good in the World Cup as well, Sodhi can be a great captain/vice-captain choice for this fixture.
Trent Boult took 13 wickets in 7 matches in the recent World Cup and gave fantasy points in every match barring just one. He also has a good record against India having taken , 1, 4 & 1 wickets respectively in his 4 matches against them. He can be a great pick given the trouble of Indian batters against left arm pace.
Ravi Ashwin took 3/20, 1/29 & 2/14 in his 3 matches in the World Cup and thus is carrying some momentum with him. The last time he played a T20I in India might have been in 2016 but overall at home he has taken 19 wickets in 16 matches in T20Is which is great.
IND vs NZ Dream11 Prediction: All-Rounders
Santner had a quiet World Cup campaign, but given that this fixture is in India, he can be a great asset for the Kiwis as in his 8 T20Is played here, he has 11 wickets to his name along with 59 handy runs.
James Neesham gave a decent performance in the World Cup as he took 3 wickets and scored 86 runs in his 7 matches. Given that Jaipur is a big stadium, someone like Neesham can be much more effective with the ball as he relies more on his slower ones and change up deliveries. He also plays spin very well and thus can be effective there as well.
Axar Patel had a great IPL with the ball as he took a total of 15 wickets in 12 matches. Given that Jadeja and Hardik are absent, Axar will definitely play more as an all-rounder in this series than as a bowler and thus we can expect him to score runs with the bat as well.
IND vs NZ Dream11 Prediction: Captain and Vice-Captain
