Toss: Delhi won the toss and choose to Bat

Marcus Stoinis - With performances of 38 runs & 3 wickets last night and 65 runs & 1 wicket in the match before, Stoinins is peaking at the right time this season. As context, do watch out for him if he opens again as his batting average as an opener in T20s is close to 40.

Kieron Pollard - He was out for a duck last match but do watch out for him as he steps up on big occasions. His scores in 5 IPL finals are as follows: 41*(25), 7(3), 36(18), 60(32) and 27(10); thus you can see he scores big and quick in finals.

Hardik Pandya - With scores of 37*(vs Delhi), 17 and 60* Hardik is amongst points in all of his last 3 matches; which makes him a player to watch out for.

Jasprit Bumrah - In his last 3 matches Bumrah has taken 4/14, 3/17 and 3/14 which makes him a no brainer pick. Also, he is a player who loves to perform on big occasions as his stats say 2/14 (2019) and 2/26 (2017) in the 2 IPL finals that he has played.

Kagiso Rabada - With 4 wickets in the last match, Rabada snatched the purple cap from Bumrah and now leads the chart with 29 wickets, thus looking in good rhythm.

Trent Boult -  In his 3 matches against Delhi this season he has performances of 2/9, 3/21 and 1/36; thus among points in every match. Out of his 22 wickets, 14 have come inside the first 6 overs,
which makes him interesting against the struggling Delhi top-order.

Ishan Kishan - Ishan Kishan has scored 483 runs this season in just 12 innings, out of which in only 2 innings he has been in single digits and in all other he has scored at least 25 runs (includes 4 fifties); thus proving that he is consistent with points.

Quinton De Kock - He is the 5th highest run getter this season with 483 runs and the leading wicket keeper in terms of dismissals (20). As context, his scores against Delhi this season are as follows: 40, 26 and 53; thus guaranteed fantasy points.

Shikhar Dhawan - Dhawan is the perfect example of a high risk choice as in his last 10 matches he has scored 2 centuries, 4 fifties but also 4 single digit scores (which includes 2 ducks against Mumbai alone). Having said that, he has amassed 603 runs so far and is 2nd.

Probable XI

DELHI : Marcus Stoinis, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Shimron Hetmyer, Axar Patel, Pravin Dubey, Ravichandran Ashwin, Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada

    Preview

The final of the 2020 Indian T20 League is here! Mumbai meet Delhi in the final, in Dubai. This is the fourth clash between the two teams this season with Mumbai prevailing in the previous three.

The defending champions have reached this phase quite comfortably, losing just 5 matches in a total of 15 while Delhi have huffed and puffed to get here. They seem to have finally found a solution to their batting issues, getting Marcus Stoinis to open and slotting in Shimron Hetmyer for Daniel Sams. But against Mumbai, they need to be at their mighty best as the team from the financial capital barely
    seems to have any issues.

Batting and bowling are functioning well without any doubt. There will be a few mind games as Mumbai’s previous three wins over Delhi have been comprehensive.

Delhi will need to play out of their skins to prevent Mumbai from defending their title.
