Kolkata Knight Riders' cricketer and former India spinner Harbhajan Singh has been appointed as the brand ambassador of fantasy sports portal Fan2Play.

Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has joined fantasy sports platform Fan2Play as its brand ambassador.

The four-time Indian Premier League (IPL) winner, Harbhajan Singh will be the face of Fan2Play’s new campaign, #LetsPanga, which promotes the challenge feature of the fantasy gaming app.

“In India, cricket is more than just a sport and fantasy gaming platforms help fans engage with the game in a more interactive format. I am very excited to partner with Fan2Play and be a part of this journey,” said Harbhajan Singh on the association.

The Turbanator, as he is fondly called, is plying his trade for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2021 after being released by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ahead of this season.

With IPL 2021 going on in full swing, fantasy sports portals have come up with unique offerings to lure new users.

Along with the standard 11-player format, Fan2Play users can also create their teams with just two, three or four players and challenge others through this feature

Also, there is no credit limit while making fantasy teams.

Fan2Play claims to have a 50 per cent higher winning probability as compared to the other fantasy apps in this vertical.

With Harbhajan Singh as their face, the Delhi-based company aims to revolutionise the fantasy gaming industry of India.

Harbhajan Singh has so far represented India in 103 Tests, 236 ODIs and 28 T20Is, picking 711 wickets.

In the Indian Premier League, the Punjab cricketer has claimed 150 wickets - the fifth-highest of all time.
