MyTeam11 launches SportsTiger app for sports on the go

India’s second-largest fantasy sports platform, MyTeam11 has launched SportsTiger, a multi-sport multi-faceted aggregator app.

The app will feature sports news in just 60 words, score updates, and videos while also aiming to provide live streaming of matches, making it one of the few sports applications to do so.

Vinit Godara, co-founder of MyTeam11 believes that in this fast-paced world, users have shifted to consume content that is readily available and SportsTiger will be the platform to fulfil this need.

“With the ever-increasing pace of life, it has become important to consume most of the things on the go including sports,” Godara stated. “Through this application we want to ensure that the user gets a 360-degree experience of their favourite sport, enabling them to stay informed on the latest in the world of sports.

“Additionally, the live streaming feature is going to be a major boost for all the users on the application.”

Fantasy gamers rely on the latest stats and data from various sources to build their fantasy teams. In an attempt to bridge this gap between the information required and choosing of players, MyTeam11 launched SportsTiger.

“SportsTiger will also attract the fantasy game lovers who will be keen to make more informed choices while applying their skills playing on various fantasy gaming platforms,” reasoned Godara.

Considering that a large consumer base prefers to get their sports news on the go, SportsTiger also has the option of listening to news rather than reading it.

In order to become the one-stop destination for sports news, they will also be covering podcasts, interviews, fantasy tips and match analysis in addition to match updates.

Dream11 too runs its very own multi-sports aggregator, FanCode, which has taken the market by storm having racked up 10 million subscribers. They also partnered with the NBA to live stream basketball matches in India.

FanCode currently has more than 10 million downloads on the Google Play Store while SportsTiger stands at 100,000+ downloads.
