My11Circle ropes in Ranveer Singh as brand ambassador

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh will endorse fantasy gaming platform My11Circle after becoming its brand ambassador.

Ranveer Singh is one of the most popular faces of the country and enjoys a huge fan following, with more than 35 million followers on Instagram and 13.8 million on Twitter.

“As a cricket aficionado, I am excited to be a part of the latest My11Circle campaign, which celebrates the fervour of the Indian cricket fan,” said Ranveer Singh.

The fantasy sports firm has released a teaser with Ranveer Singh and will be unveiling a new campaign on April 6.

"Films and cricket are two of India's biggest passions. With the start of the T20 season, we are extremely proud to have Ranveer Singh on board,” said Bhavin Pandya, co-founder and chief executive officer, Games24x7.

“His energy, passion for cricket and excellence at his craft epitomise young and aspirational India.”

The actor will be playing the role of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev in his upcoming movie, 83, based on the cricket World Cup-winning team of 1983.

My11Circle, owned by Games24x7, has been spending aggressively on marketing just before the commencement of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 season.

It had recently signed the Indian Test team’s vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane and former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman as ambassadors.

They will join former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly, Australian all-rounder Shane Watson and Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan as the brand ambassador of My11Circle.

Ajinkya Rahane will be representing the Delhi Capitals while VVS Laxman will be mentoring Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2021.

Launched in 2019, My11Circle claims to have over 17 million gamers on its platform and has become one of the top fantasy sports firms in less than two years since.

Games24x7, which is headquartered in Mumbai, has RummyCircle and Ultimate Games also in its portfolio and has a claimed user base of more than 70 million.
